At the YSLL Forum 2024, we non-profit organizations that have been tackling challenges in special education, healthcare poverty, and environmental protection in Southern California for over a decade. These organizations have shown remarkable dedication and resilience in addressing local issues. We encouraged our students to explore and support these essential initiatives, emphasizing the importance of engagement. The AEC Foundation continued to motivate students to participate in impactful service activities, promoting a spirit of collaboration and compassion among future leaders. The 2024 YSLL Summit served as a premier event for STEM educators and high school students throughout Southern California. This year, AEC hosted YSLL on Earth Day, April 21st, at the University of California, Irvine, focusing on innovative developments in STEM Sustainability, including, longevity, and space exploration. In alignment with the UN's 2030 Goals, YSLL promoted collaboration between students and STEM professionals, emphasizing youth leadership, innovative thinking, and a commitment to a sustainable future. Participants seized the chance at YSLL to create a global impact from our local community, reflecting AEC's mission of 'thinking globally acting locally.'
